Dear ankit, you do not need to put property papers for education loan. Go to a nationalized bank and they will guide you through. Normally all they want is an Term insurance equalant to the loan amount.

If a student is poor and his father has no property ;why bankers refuse to sanction education. loan?
previously they wanted guarantors to get assured .Now they plainly refuse to give education loan .When in fact they are they who really need the social help.
Asked by drvinayjha@yahoo.com on 2009-08-01 07:08:42.
Banks aren't in the business of social help. It sounds cold but banks are in the business of making money. They want low risk and high return. When the economy is bad (as it is now), banks can't afford to take risks with their money. If they did, their depositors would take the money out of the bank. Government and charity are in the 'business' of social help. They're who you'll have to get the most help from.

Yes, you can! That is what the central government's new scheme says. If the bank does not approve your loan then you can even approach the court of law!
